Basic Information
The Okabrook Sharks Swim Team is a recreational team. Our focus is on individual improvement and achievement. There is an emphasis on having fun and team bonding. Our league is the Puget Sound Swim League (PSSL). Parents should create an account for their child on the app "Swimmingly". More information to follow if you are new to the app.
Weekday morning practices begin Thursday, June 19th. This year swimmers will be divided based on ability and experience. Advanced swimmers will begin practice at 7 am with stretching. Developing swimmers will start practice at 8am. This may result in siblings having different assigned practice times. Carpooling will be encouraged.
This year we are piloting optional instructional swim practices working on stroke formation in early June before our "regular" morning practices begin. These optional practices will be held in the evenings afrter school. Dates and times TBD.
Our first meet is July 5 and our championship will be August 2nd. We are working with a new league (some of the same teams from last year) this season and the details have not been finalized. A calendar will be posted here once dates have been finalized.

Anna is a military spouse and has been coaching swim team for 17 years.
Assistant Coach - Morgan Heitman
Morgan is a collegiate swimmer and former Oakbrook Sharks swim team member.
